While most people have an Amazon Prime membership or at least know about Prime, not everyone knows about the half-price option for college students: Prime Student. With Prime Student, you get all the benefits of a regular Prime membership (with the exception of the ability to share your membership with others) for just $6.49/mo (or $59/yr) instead of $12.99/mo (or $119/yr).
But unlike a regular membership, you also get these added perks:
Grubhub+ Student: A Grubhub+ Student monthly membership that includes free unlimited food delivery for students (off-campus orders over $12), special perks, donation matching, and ability to earn 10% back on pickup orders with Grubhub+ Student Cash.
Calm: 3 free months of Calm, an app for meditation and sleep. After 3 months it's just $8.99/year (normally $69.99/year).
StudentUniverse: 10% off flights and hotels from StudentUniverse, plus free premium customer support.
Course Hero: One month of Course Hero for free, then it's just $9.95/month (normally $39.95/month). Students can access resources for their courses with step-by-step explanations, 24/7 homework help, textbook solutions, and more.
Prime Video Channels: Channels like SHOWTIME, EPIX, ALLBLK, Sundance Now, and more for just 99 cents/month each, for up to 12 months (normally $3.99 to $10.99/month).
Amazon Music Unlimited: Upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited, the premium subscription tier of Amazon Music for just 99 cents/month to access more than 75 million songs. Amazon Music Unlimited Student Plan customers can now access Amazon Music HD at no extra cost.
You'll of course need to verify your student status in order to reap the benefits of Prime Student membership. In addition to Prime Student, college students and parents can shop and save on everything they need for the school year at amazon.com/offtocollege.
