In case you missed it, Walmart+ has made another move to bolster their new premium plan's features. Originally, Walmart+ members could enjoy free shipping only on orders of $35 or more. But as of December 4, 2020, Walmart has officially waived this requirement for orders placed through Walmart.com. Free grocery delivery will retain its $35 minimum, even for Plus members, but the retail giant is doing little to veil its intentions of competing with Amazon and their Prime membership perks.
Paired with all the existing Walmart+ offerings, free shipping is definitely a big step in this endeavor. From fast shipping to fuel discounts, Walmart has been laying bigger and more enticing cards on the table since the inception of their Plus membership.
