Get ready, Disney devotees - Mickey and Co. are coming to Target! This October, Disney Store at Target will launch inside 25 select Target locations, with an additional 40 stores planned to open by October 2020.
Covering approximately 750 sq. feet of space on average, these store-within-a-store Disney shops will be located near the kids clothing and toy aisles in Target. Each store will have over 450 items ranging from $2-$200 (with many under $20) and will feature interactive displays, Disney music and a seating area for families to watch clips of Disney movies. Stores will offer toys, apparel and home products from all of your favorites including Disney, Star Wars, Pixar and Marvel. More than 100 items that will be available in the stores were previously only available at Disney retail locations, and there will even be some collectible merchandise from the Disney Animators' Collection.
Furthering the partnership of both brands, Target will also be opening a new small format location right near Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in 2021.
Target is also offering a Disney-themed digital experience online. The full site will launch on October 4, but you can get a sneak peek at target.com/disneystore.
